During her clerkship, Abbie gained firsthand experience in family and criminal law by working on dozens of custody, divorce, and felony cases. She has a deep understanding of court processes, how judges and juries are likely to rule on cases, and the resources available to resolve cases outside of court.

Abbie Pedroza earned her law degree at Wake Forest University and is licensed to practice in Maryland, North Carolina, and Washington, DC. While in law school, Abbie clerked for the Honorable Paul L. Friedman in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia. She also interned with the United States Attorney’s Office (USAO), the Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA) Section of the Department of Justice, and a prestigious catastrophic personal injury firm in Washington, DC.

Before law school, Abbie pursued an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Niagara University and successfully completed many therapy-based internships. She utilizes her unique experience in psychology to inform her legal practice daily and to provide the most supportive environment possible for her clients.
