Kimberly Seabright

Kim Seabright has represented clients in a variety of matters throughout the state of Maryland. In addition to her criminal and traffic practice at Krum, Gergley & Oates, LLC, she has also secured wins for her clients in both personal injury and workers’ compensation trials. She has represented criminal clients all over the state at both the District and Circuit Court levels, handling hundreds of misdemeanor and felony matters. Kim has negotiated successful pleas and obtained favorable verdicts for her clients in 19 of Maryland’s 23 counties.

Ms. Seabright was born and raised in Maryland, graduating from Hagerstown Community College with two degrees before becoming a paralegal. While working as a paralegal in personal injury and workers’ compensation firms, she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Law and American Civilization from Towson University in 2017. After several years in the legal industry, Kim sought her Juris Doctor from Penn State Law, graduating in 2021 with concentrations in Advocacy & Litigation and Health Law. Prior to joining the team at Krum, Gergely & Oates, LLC, Ms. Seabright worked as an associate attorney at a boutique criminal, personal injury, and workers’ compensation firm in Columbia, and as a law clerk at a mid-sized criminal defense firm in Fairfax, VA.

 

Assisting clients in both Spanish and English, Ms. Seabright is admitted to practice in Maryland and the U.S. District Court of Maryland. She is also a member of several professional organizations. She has experience litigating and co-chairing cases ranging from minor traffic to serious sex abuse and homicide cases. Known and respected by her peers, Ms. Seabright is member of the Maryland Bar Association, the Maryland Criminal Defense Attorneys’ Association, the Montgomery County Bar Association, the Baltimore County Bar Association, the Anne Arundel Bar Association and the Maryland LGBT+ Bar Association. She is also a public notary in the State of Virginia.
